Will improve everyone his dps but the laggy people most. If i think what blue is hinting at its that you for instance can press fireball multiple times and the server queues up fireballs for you so you cast them with zero lag between them after the first goes off. In theory this can work for all abilities you queue up after you start combat. Will even help with spamhealing

Slouken is a wizard and actually the only Blue out there that does hands on development as well as give feedback.
Might help that it's very technical related and mostly very very boring to the overwhelming majority of mankin; the people that want to troll don't know how to because the subject matter makes their heads exlode!
Anyway, it'll be interesting to see what he and his team cooks up

Server side queueing of abilities isnt new both swg and daoc had it too just to name a few on top of my head;its usually limited to let you just queue one action though but it does eliminate latency influence on casting/actions almost totally after the first cast. The only other network solution would be client based control for cast but so far no other mmorg had done that cause its very prone to hacking when you let the client control everything. They might rely on their warden sniffer program though for that too. We'll see if slouken can pull another option out of his hat.
