From what I've read and seen so far... meh. Calling your classes "Priest of Doom" or similar won't make it a good game.

What ive seen so far its a Enhancement shaman with a AOE stun.
Its a melee healer buffbot, Im sure I have seen it before somewhere.. Not sure where.

Myeah AoC combat's in it's infancy anyway.
No tactics developed, no weakspots exploited - that'll take at least half a year if not longer.

I'm guessing a bear shaman will not have sufficient defense or deterrance from not becoming a desirable focal point for opposing melee.

or he will be able to turn into a real bear and scare the melee classes the hell away!

Anyway, I think the (melee) combat is much more involved then in WoW atm, to bad spell waving isn't in beta. Have to see how it all works out but I am getting a bit tired of arena's and personal rating and hope the frontier pvp will be imba.

Some dev about spellweaving:

played with spellweaving the other day, and I must say: It is a very scary experience. My necromancer character had dark matter and skulls growing out of the ground everywhere around her, and gradually my powers changed. Spells that normally were applied to only a single target started spreading out and damaging huge belts of opponents in a cascading madness. It's a truly unique feature I am very excited about.

tbh i was really unimpressed with wow at the start...everything in wow i have seen in other games...But AoC looks like the best mix of innovation and tried-and-true mechanics. Also music and visuals are amazing.
