War & Wow seems too similar to make it worth it to swap from one to another..

Age of Conan is the most promising new game coming imo..

I somehow think that one isn't that easy to fix :)
Anyway, compare the amount of bugs in WoW to any of it's competitors back in those days. Things have changed a lot, and mostly for the good.

Yeah I know, I understand the problematics behind it and the difficulties, i just like a good conspiracy. And yes, WoW was and still is a lone beacon in a sea of unfinished crap on the mmo market (that and gw as far as I know). But both WAR and AoC will be taking serious shots at stealing away the pvp focused populance of WoW and I think they have a real good shot of doing just that, to assume anything else is naive. One does have to keep in mind tho that the main % of the mmo subscribers are the pve focused kind and as far as that goes WoW is lone dictator with no end in sight.

To sum it up, the two new pvp games will take a chunk out of the WoW player base if they are proper AAA productions, enough to see a decent dent in the subscription numbers as long as one keeps in mind that most people will have their WoW subscription open until they're certain they want to make the final move.
