k, tried to play some Far cry today... had some probs in the start, but updated the driver wich fixed the gfx bug (screen was just blue). But now I discover a new bug, my screen freezes, sound continues, every 10-20 sec, wich ofc is fucking annyoing. Then I tried to play abit F.e.a.r wich have worked perfectly in the passed.. same thing.
I recently formated my computer, (yesterday) is it anything I have forgotten to update or something?
Screen freeze, sound continue (or loops perfectly) and I better make that single round I'm able to fire; a headshot.

Any hints 'n or tips?

installed something direct x. Thing with the freeze, the game freeze too, beside the music ambience and/or last sound playing with duration (carnoise far cry) wich plays the duration then *fucks up. But its definitly something with the grapichs.. all the trees can disapeer for instance during the "freeze". Piss me off this tbh, why can't thing just fuucking work!?

What kind of graphics card? Ati or Nvidia ?

you have a CD with original drivers for it?
