Lando was a regular from our FPS days and he bailed on WoW at around level 25.
Took too much time together with his young kids, job and family.
He's currently enjoying LOTRO and he's very very adamant it fits his social situation much more then WoW.
What goes against LOTRO I suppose is that it isn't an established brand on the PC, unlike Warcraft.
seen LOTRO, its one of those 'seen it all before' type of games .. havent seen a single original thing in there yet, and most of it has been a 'bad' copy at that ..
guessing lando is in a less 'powerleveler' guild in LOTRO tho, he quit at 25 cause he tried keeping up with the hardcore levelers in the guild Im guessing?
Im not really getting the whole attunement deleting.. well ofc I GET it, but if you cant even get SSC attunement done, you really have no business in that dungeon in the first place, I dont see a guild that cant kill nightbane/gruul take anything in there down, maaaaybe lurker .. TKE is very nice tho, but enjoy the trash .. its harder than half the bosses in there
KT is an awesome fight, but I agree it takes a bit long, the first 2 phases are very long and tedious to do over and over .. some checkpoint would be nice, where you can start at phase 3 right away once you've made it there or something .. altho that would totally trivalise it I suppose .. we've spend 4 nights trying it, and the last one everything fell into place, killed him on second try, but a lot was due to personal fuckups .. people dying during phase 1 for instance is completely avoidable. The weapons main use is countering KT's special moves .. their other use is allowing you to burn down all his lieutenants in phase 3 a lot faster, cause you'd get totally overrun otherwise probably. All in all, a very cool fight, feels very epic.
BT Im sure they'll remove/simplify attunement at some point also .. just so everybody can see the content. First couple bosses really arent that hard, altho I can see people running into trouble if the raid just doesnt have the gear for the dps/healing.
Still, glad that bliz is allowing 'everybody' to see all the content, really dont need a second Nax

Paladin is man or woman with holy light, liek angel from god paladin hold up holy light so you see in dark and not be scared. You CANT play naughty paladin coz it not fit with paladin holy light ok?
I was in the guild on the night they killed him. Me and Kibba were on the 2nd kill, which still took 3 hours because of the p3-4 transfer being the hardest. It's a good fight that requires you to be awake, and it's certainly not the aoe-mess that Vashj is. Next nerf on Kael'thas will probably be the removal of his MC, which eliminates the last of the randomness and makes it perfectly tuned. Until then, a big caps to blizzard: STOP PUTTING THE MIND CONTROL MECHANIC IN YOUR ENDBOSS FIGHTS, IT IS ANNOYING AND SO FUCKING RANDOM YOU CAN ALMOST /WRISTS IF YOU KEEP WIPING BECAUSE OF THAT.

nah its not really comparable. its all about having enough DPS to burn stuff down before KT joins the fight. As long as people pay attention, its a lot less random than Hydros, since the only thing that can really fuck you up is the Darkener, since he targets random people. Other than that everybody will always tank the exact same thing, and there is no random shit. Until KT joins the fight ofc
