Since i'm a mage and this is "mage heaven" i just have to say MAGE OWNES! i love spellsteal, alkohol, snuff, midgets and FOOD! and i hate Bionix, cat food, The Ark and the disgusting old lady that takes the same buss as me every morning!.

Yesterday i respecced. Full fire now. Pure PVE in mind when i spend time at the calc. Still have the imp amp magic.

I added 1 point in imp fire blast so the serie Fireball/Fireball/Fireblast can be spammed without waiting for the CD of the fireblast.

Got all manacost-lowering talents (for fire), so hope it works out fine since i don't have arcane mind and arcane meditation anymore.

Worst thing about mages is that there is a comparable superiour class available in WoW called warlocks.

Blizzard restricted mages dps in PVE and buffed locks. Main reason is the "imba" (3min cd) burst we can do if it crits. Just remove AP/spellpower and boost the normal dps and threat reduction imo.

Whenever i see a warlock i run for my life.
The same with Hunters ><

Other then that i must say it's so damn fun to play a mage i can't see anything bad

that is the usual assumption to make.. but its not entirely true either. Ive had my ass kicked several times by warriors. Doesnt happen to often, but its not even in the same vicinity as a mage vs warlock.

One on One mage isnt very good at all tbh. This is ofc a question of spec to. I dont consider myself to be a bad player either :p . Its just a very honest observation ive done the last 2,5 years. Cant really say we have a easy time against anyone besides warriors.

Luckily he is only worried about 1 class being able to take his spot. If he was a healer with 3 other classes doing the same in raids, he might go insane..
