As the pets intellects affects your spelldamage I would go with this:

Read the pet can go oom pretty fast when he taunting so that is why I put 2 points into Mana Feed. If that isn't so, they will go to Imp Life Tap.

PS Your NF build has no NF in it :)

i know but its most similar to the old sl/nf build.
and if dots/drains do more dmg in exp that build might be good as hell :p

If you were into PvP I would consider taking Unholy Power (+5% to fire/shadow). That way you also get some more (much) needed stamina.

Hmm if HP is everything in new patch it would IMO be cool to get some kind of a supah HP regen build.. either heavy affli or heavy demonology. With hpregen items and offc improved drains etc :p

Spellstones and firestones now are equipped in your wand slot, spellstones only remove harmful debuffs now, not buffs, and give spell crit, no damage shield.
This according to a beta tester.

firestone for firelocks might be pretty ok.. 30 +dmg and maybe then u start hitting ur mobs

spellstone without sheild is big nono imo :(
