yea Ive seen plenty of pics with BE's with warrior gear on .. it doesnt make sense .. new ally race can be warrior, EVERY ingame race atm can be warrior .. if it's because of the racial (ae silence?), that's just as op on rogues, maybe more .

lorewise warlock is one of the most bloodelf-ish classes

(nerd mode on: they were responsible for summoning archimonde etc into the world during the first scourge invasion)

having more trouble with rogue/hunter than warlock/mage/priest personally.
at least they're not druids, now THAT wouldve been dumb

(Blood)Elf warlock makes sense for the lore they made for the Blood Elves.
These are magic-crack addicts which have stooped to leeching demonic magic to fuel their needs and daily requirements.

Anyway that's how they explained the "Paladin" choice as well; they noticed that besides the Shadow (demon?) there's that Light stuff they're ex-allies used (you know, those twats in Stormwind that left them hanging to dry and at Arthas' mercy). So they kinda leeched that too.
Nice eh. Convenient too, but I'm sure every person who treats Warcraft lore as Prinz treats Tolkien's Lord of the Ring lore has or will go utterly ape when trying to cope with this blasphemy.

They explained they'd like only 6 class choices per race (the same as drenaei) and the choice was either Hunter or Warrior to drop.
They preferred the ranger choice.

Which is probably very girlfriend friendly (/duck).
Though, Blood Elf Female Paladin isn't too shabby either in that respect.

Hey cheer up.
At least Blood Elves get to be the Holy Warrior and stuff.
