Played frost for a long time and have to say it sucks to always trust your crits to make some damage. The only time u love your frost is when u are up vs. a warrior

I think Fenz Elemental Precesion is much better from Arcane Subtlety so i would prefer those 2 talents on 4 % hit and not on -10 resistance.

arcane missiles takes the least use of +dmg from the basic spells iirc since its 5sec cast and only gets 100% of the bonus

never liked frost fenz.. i do crits for 3.4 or something like that.. and after that, the ignite kicks in, 40% of the dmg done in the crit ticks in on 4 secs.. and then u have the pyro tick to..... frost sucks for dmg .. no not really.. but it will never be the dmg dealer as fire is.

As far as i see it:
- With 8k mana you can do more frostdamage then firedamage.
- In 2 min. you can do more firedamage then frostdamage.
- Many allies have alot of fireresist (ToEP, Crit Pyro of 900 is not nice) and not frostresist, so frost is cool in PVP.
- I don't know frost immune bosses, tho there are fire immune bosses.
- Frost has nice control and protection abilities.
- Fire has a long range and Burst damage can be insane.
- During clearing where the fire-resist is low and you can drink alot a Firemages come in as one of the highest damagedealers.

Elemental build sounds cool imo. Perhaps something like this (PVE minded)

Well, allies dont use FR gear in PVP, its just in duels.

afaik, fire mages does more burst but the survivability of a frost mage is crazy

Might switch piercing ice with improved Blizzard for AV

No fenz imo dont even try that build. With no imp cs and no blastwave when you will fight versus a healer it would be like a miracle to kill them.
And ofc the talents in peircing ice have no big use put for sure ice burrier if you are going to put 33 talents in frost.

The survivability of a frost mage is by no means crazy, thats for sure. Its better than for a firemage, but not much more. Id rather do what we do best, rather than staring the opponent to death inside an iceblock...
