True or fake ? According to what blizzard posted a while ago, the next legendary item was going to be a caster one. Could this be a data-mined pic of it? God knows, it probably drops off C'Thun somehow if it's real tho.

Possibly. There was this legendary quest drop from C'Thun called "Essence of Madness" right?
- Casters only.

Now you've linked this pic, and Sinarion dug up another legendary staff way way back when Ahn'Qiraj was still being designed.

Seems like a good one. Two completely different legendary staffs and the choice is yours once you get the essence off C'Thun.

Harmony of Elune
68.8 dps (159-254)
+21 Stamina
+47 Intellect
+34 Spirit
Use: Restores 60 mana every 2 sec for 45 sec.
Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 127.
Equip: Restores 1% of your total mana every 5 sec.

Though, as discussed in Sinarion's thread, with 8000 max mana that Elune staff would be equivalent to 80 mana per 5 seconds, passive.
That Elune thing also has better passive damage then that Andarian staff thingy.

All of it is, well, pretty damned (over?) powerful.

That second staff seems a bit unlikely imo. The amount of damage and especially the mana regen thing is way off the blizzard budget scale. Judging from current highlevel epics, mana regen is considered one of the most expensive abilities on items - budgetwise ofcourse.

The first one 'might' be likely. And if it's currently in the game indeed, it'll probably be something like thunderfury. At least i hope so tbh

this is a very old fake picture

its been around for a very long time saw it when we were still waiting for 1.08 and the mage in question has admitted himself that the pic is a fake one

But yeah, that Elune thing seems over the top.
Built in personal manatide too as well as the horridly imba active mana regen.

Would be an appropriate Resto shaman staff though.
