I have played a lot d&d and personaly i dont think that keyboard mouse and graphics can replace pencil paper and imagination and i also believe that fans of d&d agree on this.I wont ever trade hanging out with friends playing d&d with lonely nights in front of pc ;p

Pretty nice graphics, have no idea what the game is like though. Perhaps i will try it out some day. But im more of a Warhammer gamer than D&D.

I never played the pen and paper game because none of my friends play it and I wouldn't have anyone to play it with if I wanted to..

I played all of the Forgotten realms games though (does that count as D&D? :? ) and I used to love the cartoon when I was about 3! I don't think I will get this game though.

Don't think D&D works in computergames except maybe some solo games like those very rare golden ones like Baldur's Gate (all three) and Planescape: Torment.

Of course those two are nothing like the real stuff I guess...

Well i also play DDO now, to try it out. GFX are okey, but ambience is not really great imo. There is a lvl cap to 10 atm. Its really based on group pve, not much to solo. Specially as a lvl 1 wizard :) The gameplay is totaly difference from WoW. They have done nice try to get the D&D feeling in the game. Sometimes when you enter a room you hear a DM voice, that describes the feeling in the room. I think its really a game you have to like. But it will never get a populair as WoW. And the game might be fun for a few weeks to month, but will not have the lifetime of WoW. Ofc this is my opinion. There also no real eng-game content in it.
