If I apply a DoT before I activate ZHC, and then don't cast any spells while ZHC is active, does the full +280 get applied to the DoT?

If this is the case, you could apply Corruption, activate ZHC, and then each of the 6 ticks that occured while ZHC was active would receive +47 damage.

I would test this out myself, but I haven't turned in my Heart of Hakkar yet (saving it for Razorgore tonight)

Confirmed!

I can load up enemies with DoTs, activate ZHC, and walk away. Each tick will get the full benefit of +280 damage.

Corruption = +47/tick
CoA = +35/tick (average)
Immolate = +28/tick

This also works great with Hellfire or Rain of Fire

Hellfire = +19/tick
RoFire = +70/tick

The only thing that sucks about Hellfire is that it has so many ticks (15), that +damage bonuses are reduced to practically nothing.

Interestingly, I discovered that only my DD spells actually make the counter count down.

I can continue to spam CoAgony and Corruption without affecting the timer. I can even cast Hellfire and Rain of Fire multiple times without affecting the counter!

Only Shadow Bolt, Searing Pain, Shadowburn, and Immolate make the counter count down. Well...maybe Soul Fire does, but why would I ever cast that?

Ok, I know what to do.

I always dot as many people as I can and then activate both trinkets. Works great when farming and in pvp

Only link i can find on aq items atm is this one who seem to have all sets EXCEPT warlocks but maybe one day they add it
