The Thunderfury plot thickens!

Post by sneek »

Referring here to a recent thread concerning elementium on the TH forums.

Basically put...
Drojan <Recurring Nightmare> - Impatient! Trade!
Tyken <The Silver Horde> - How much?
Valthurg <Path of Wreckage> - Not gonna happen, want first sword!

Nice detail - PoW lacks a proper set of bindings on a single player!

Will PoW get lucky in MC? Will Drojan hammer a deal? Will TSH get loaded?
As Azeroth Turns will be back after the commercial break!

It actually makes me feel physically sick how PoW feel so desperate to be the first to get whatever weapon this is. Having said that, it would probably be the best feeling ever if SMOdium got it before them, just to rub their faces in it amongst ourselves, hehe

Heh, well PoW's more of an all out Achiever's guild then a player's guild imo.
Us, well... Explorers, Socializers and a maybe a few Killers sprinkled on top to make it zesty!

Too bad for everyone involved that, in a year or so from now, every single guild will have a few of those Thunderfuries rotting in the bank :P
Not to say it's a bad sword or anything - it's heavenly. Only once you're at Level 70 the threadmill starts again :)

(Say what? Achievers? Killers? -Bartle stuff quoting here)

Stopped reading the realm forums the same way I stopped watching tv 5 years ago.
No wonder it took them ages to get those forums up.
99% of the posts are rubbish.
Complicating is the true path to simplicity.

Oh I'm sure there are lots of nice people in PoW, I didn't want to come across as badmouthing their whole guild :P eg I know Virt is a cool d00d. But every single member of their guild who posts on the forums just comes across as an unbelievably arrogant brown-noser, usually with TSH (or each other) :o

Disc/Holy pwns! So much better than Shadow in *every* way imho, don't let anyone tell you they suck in 1 v 1!

Hey, with my build and my gear, the only classes that ever beat me regularly were warrior, FelhunterLock (and druid but they never fight 1 v 1 anyway) against whom any priest has no chance in PvP anyway.

Also Holy/Disc is so much better for Group PvP it's unbelievable, especially with Prophecy 3-set bonus. And, obviously Holy/Disc means you can do all non-raid instances in your sleep.

It's true that the Holy tree is possibly the worst tree in the game, but that's mainly cause it's so damn boring and has a crap 31-point talent. Improved Flash Heal is by far the best PvP talent too imho!

a healing priest is by far better in pvp than a dps'ing priest. When they do both it's the best :)
