All those melee haters are finally realizing that rogues can do a truckload of damage ... and blow those casters out of the water!
Maybe Nihilum should tell their rogues how to play instead of keeping em out of raids :?

Seen some rogues clock insane amounts of damage output with just raw autoattack; which needs 24.6+% to hit to have no chance to miss.
That's the power of slice-n-dice.

And to think the tier6 set amps that haste by another 5%.

Myea nothing new. Hit is the most valuable stat for a pve rogue, by far. That's because most of our damage comes from white swings, as Sneek said. Add proccs + Combat Potency to that (chance of +energy on succesful offhand hit) and it gets even better :)

The guy with the biggest epeen has come up with a new 1v1 vid. Ming the tard. Neither the playing skills nor the editing skills are too amazing, let alone the music ... :shock:

So apparently in BT/MtH meleers are back on the top, rogues leading by far. Mostly due to the uberness of melee haste, which is on almost every high end item atm. Nerf inc? :(

Not only talking about that special encounter. If you read on you see lots of folks from high end guilds "complaining" about the uber rogue dps.

I don't understand it to be honest, rogues have practically always been on top of DPS in our squad?
Without haste crap even, even though you seem to have a gut feeling about the DST before it got proven to be "god's gift" to melee dps.

Huge issue with haste (and armor piercing effects btw) is that they act as percentile modifiers to damage dealt - and because you now have attack power, crit as well as haste and piercing you now have 4 stats in which to smear damage enhancing stuff over instead of only two.
Smearing an item's point budget around in essence allows you to get a lot more bang out of the item's buck.

Rogues have always been top5, except for a couple of very melee-unfriendly fights. Really don't see what all the qq'ing is about, rogues are fine in pve imo :c

Haste on melee/hunters will probably get nerfed in the pretty near future though, as currently it's a bit too effective for the relatively small budget it takes.
