no but seriously,, im demonology when doing arena
that means im doing primarly dmg with pet, dots and bolts/insta dmg and rest of the time i focus on fearing, cot etc

destruction (that SADLY enough isnt a viable build in 3v3 or 5v5 arena) is the mage wannabe build.. bolts and instas, not that much dots, overall my personal favourite build (THIS AND LAST MONTH!)

affliction however have 5 dots, very nice build for 2v2 and 3v3 arena and very dependable on dots. i dont think affliction locks should worry to much tho since its not THAT much less dmg they are doing

Nice tidbit:

• Corruptor Raiment Set: The pet healing bonus from this set is now triggered from damage dealt instead of damage received, at a lower percentage. Damage over time spells will trigger it correctly.

• Corruptor Raiment: The heal from this set bonus can no longer be a critical heal.


*edit : checked on PTR, pet gets healed for 15 % of the damage you deal.

Soon im gonna have time for PVE again, since we have destru and demo lock i was thinking to go affliction since it seems like we need it.

I will prolly have to respec pve and pvp if i wanna keep up doing arena but dailys make that possible imo :p

The spec im aiming for is something like this... Opinions??

For pure, maximized PvE: do something like this

8 more points to spend which you can choose individually, be it imp HoT, Grim Reach, Fel Conc (not that needed imo), DE, variations of HS.

Rest imo mandatory (ofc you get either CoE or CoS duty, depending on number of Magi/Shadowcasters in raid)

good evening gentlemen,

a fellow on my server (Tiz, on Illidan) won a championship as a warlock using the famous 6/44/11 felguard spec. I was wondering if any of you happen to know if there is a 6/44/11 spec that is most commonly used (re: which talents in specific are taken while working through the tree), and what that is? I'm playing a warlock currently and want to experiment with it.

Lateralus, how has your PvE Affliction spec been working so far? I actually might use that or something like it while working my way up in levels.
