well i just wanted a discussion here thats all.
i know heavy destro atm suffers from alot of probs,gcd clippign etc. the list goes on.
but its the most fun/natural for me to play, i like how it forces you to play to get "high" dps.
eventho its probably atm one of the worst specs when it comes to dps.

dont know tbh, personally i play my own way, i rather respec alot of times and try to find a build that suits me rather than reading ej forums to find the optimal-uber-if-you-spec-otherwise-you-mean-harm-to-your-guild builds

(that sounded alot more depressing than it should.)

My point is, just spec and try mate

when dualspecs come ill have a pvp and pve version of affli tho. but now demo works well for me

Are u even using shadowbolt anymore now whit all the buffs to fire spells?

Demo and aff. will still use shadow. Think you need at least 30 points in destro for fire.

that one is flawed!
noone uses imp as dps :>

yeah both demo and affli use shadowbolt, but as heavy destro i wouldnt use it

Quite some people use imp for DPS I think, 0/20/51 is a popular spec.

Anyway, with regard to the affliction rotation:

Basically:
- start rotation with: Shadowbolt > Haunt > UA > Immolate > CoA > Corruption > Siphon Life
- refresh a DoT the very moment the last tick expires
- fill rest of the time with Shadowbolt

We have been talking about a couple of different approaches to warlock rotations. One is to try and make more of the dots last around the same duration so you aren't watching them quite so much. Another is just to lower the standard rotation from having so many dots. These are both things we are working on but it's too early to say what the changes will end up being.

tested a bit late last night. and first impressions with the imp are unimpressive....
gonna have to see t´il next raid how shadowbolt will work out instead of incinerate.
on a sidenote since the patch the feeling/flow in the gameplay is gone out the window. its like comparing the feeling/flow between quake and battlefield.
where as in quake youre riding a sleek and powerful motorbike and battlefield your struggeling with riding a drunk camel.

Its not a buff on the mob anymore, but a 10% buff to shadowdmg on you, and you alone. Read the talent, it doesnt work like it used to :<
