Pretty good explanation of how much critrating = hitrating = spelldmg further down in this thread. Atleast I think so, to tired to see through the wall of text atm, but the theorycraft seems pretty accurate. For a affliction lock that is.

It's pretty dumb not to take demonic res. and the better build is 24/27 for the arena's. It's crappy in pve since you want bane/improved sb for that imo.

trying affliction in arena again ^^

and that build is not that nice imo phil.. it completely lacks burst and you will always need SOME burst.. at least in 3v3 and 5v5

get imp shadowbolt instead of cataclysm imo. ive tried both and sure 5% less mana cost is nice, but theres actually quite some fights where shadow is better, or that you use shadow gear due to its improved stamina. and no imp shadowbolt there is a huge downside, 9.5k shadowbolts ftw!

Also according to the EJ forums, Shadowbolts scale better the more imba your gear gets. 9.5 bolts wtf, I am happy with my 4.5k bolts

Alltho my pet dishes out some serious damage.

usually mine crits for 6-7k on a huge raidboss with debuffs etc on, butin this case i had shadow vulnerability, voidheart procc, trinket, power infusion and mag trinket procc haha. had like 1,7k +dmg
