makes abit more sense with the dmg/healing on the aq set as well alltho that set has good stats and the dmg/healing as a "bonus" I guess.
Boring part is that afaik, dmg/healing only affect serpent sting/volley/arcane shot. Traps remains the same as do scorpid sting (-68 str/agi) and viper sting (drain 1108 +/-? over 8 sec). 2 last is fair enough, but immolation trap and explosive trap I wouldn't mind it affecting. (fire dmg)
Of course I am gonna test this out with my imba dmg/heal gear (+79 Oo)

Arcane shot gets 43% but its still different from other instant spells cause arcane shot gets an melee crit multiplier (200%) instead of the spell crit modifier(150%) also because of that arcane shot is modified by mortal shots talents for 230% damage with full talent points. Serpent sting does get the full 100% of spell damage listed cause its a dot but its damage over time added over its full duration.
The ae arcane shot trinket is also different cause this one does again gets 100% of listed spelldmg bonus but then again is bound by spellcrits(150% instead of 200%)
The problem is post below that most people seem to miss is you are decreasing your multi/aimed/autoshots ofcourse by going spelldmg instead of the more regular agi etc hunter gear.
