Time Lapse seems to make the fight impossible. Partly confirmed as a bug by blue, hot fix on it's way.

- Razorgore
Adds seem to target totems. Not really confirmed, tho it might explain a few things ...

- Onyxia
REALLY messed up atm. Seems to deep breath every 10 to 15 seconds in phase 2 (some guilds reported over 15 deep breaths, wtf) with an added bonus of everyone in the instance disconnecting should you actually get her down.

Deep breath thread seems to have been deleted.

Sandstorms are invisible due to weather effects code + hurt a lot more.
Can't seem to find a linky
Bring on 1.10.1 !

afaik this is not new since the patch they have been hitting totems prepatch aswell
Wallia
no they usually target players before totems. totems arent close enough to the corners to cause proximity aggro.
the only totem that goes down are grounding because it absorbs the spells from the mages.
earthbind only goes down when the shaman dies or when the time is up as every mob should either be aggroed or crowdcontrolled already.
hitting totems would be something they did while haveing a player on top of their aggrolist. does that mean new improved ai? or is it a result of aoe spells not targeting totems? or is it just blizzard giving in to paladin whine?

also pallys kite since they can take a bit more punishment you basicly kite them up the ramp and jump down in figure 8 paterns while they are slowed if possible or you need to heal between jumps off while the mobs run around . ive picked up a few legios and kited them during tries where the shamen have died to early

well i haventr been on razorgore for 2 weeks so i dont know but i really doubt they do that nez. How sure are you about this? aresure you dont just think they do since the totems dissapear after roughly 1 min?
also theres reports about ragnars lavasplashes destroying totems so they seem a bit bugged atm
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/threa ... post428743
also this thread apears to think that its new in this patch
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/threa ... post427799
as i mentioned before totems shouldnt have any reason to be targeted in the razorgore encounter because the mobs are a) crowdcontrolled or b) has a player so high above totems on the aggrolist he has no reason to hit the totem.
the only way for a totem to get aggro is either proxmity (not happening in the razorgore encounter), healeing or replenishing mana (highly unlikely to ever exceed the healing made by players or by the earthshocks shamans throw out.
or in the special case: the totem happen to be a stoneclaw totem which function acctually is generate aggro (still i belive it doesnt take aggro if you earthshocked the mob once or twice)
only mobs that constantly changes targets like the needlers in AQ (battleguard satura type mobs) should reasonably attack totems.
However the fix that totems doesnt count as players for the AoE spells may fuck things up a bit and that could possibly be the reason for the bug.
what change was made a few weeks ago to the totems that made mobs randomly target them nez? i must have missed that completly.

last post in the thread about totems. is it not the totems but the overall aggro that is bugged? has anyone else seen strange behaviour?"For example, when one of our hunters marked a dragon, scattered shot, and distracting shot, the dragon destoryed two Earthbind totems and than ran after the hunter."
My theory is that the mobs remember who they have aggro on, but not how much hate someone has built up. For example, my guild uses the controller-kite method mentioned earlier (although we wait longer than 1-2min before AoEing and breaking control) with me as the first controller. I AoEed, broke control and started kiting. Our second controller had to AoE, pulled about 80% of the mobs off of me, and as soon as he broke control, all the mobs went back onto me.
So seems the same thing with the totems. The Shaman/Hunter get aggro, and when the mob rechecks its aggro list, it goes to a nearby target.
Just a theory of mine.
Apparently the forum is broken, but I play a lvl 60 warrior on Detheroc.

Update on onyxia :
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/threa ... 1#blizzard[/quote]
I would normally provide a link, but I'm just going to cut&paste my response from the General forum.
After reviewing the concerns posted since the patch went live, and through internal investigation, an unintentional change was discovered in the Onyxia encounter concerning increased frequency of her Deep Breath ability. We are currently working on a fix to reduce the frequency of the Deep Breath ability and will be implementing it as soon as possible.
