No different really then requiring punkbuster for other online games, if it helps to keep the cheats down go for it imo. If yer an Orwell 1984 type i guess it can bother ya

For those worried by what The Warden does, Mr Hoglund has produced a program called The Governor that reports on what it is watching.

Would, personally, not touch The Governor with a 10-foot pole let alone install it on my machine...

Very very prone to spyware that tool.
