Off-topic allowed? (Downloading ROMs)

Post by Late »

Hey, never really seen an off topic post on the forums, but I thought I'd post it anyway :p

Anyway, I'm kinda on some nights now I can;t play WoW for the foreseeable future, and from my uni timetable it looks like im gonna have quite a lot of free time during the day, so ive been looking for a place where i can download certain roms/ emulators etc

I'm specifically looking for a place to download FFVII for the playstation, and yes, i do own it so i should be allowed to download it legally, but i can;t find anywhere where I can d/l it :( can anyone suggest a good place?

Hehe, yeah, we should make a FF appreciation thread :p I think i'm the only person in the world who actually rates IX above VII, though VII is still one of my favourite games ever  :o

Na i really like FFVII, one of the best games ever imo and the best FF game.

I like most FF games one exception is FFX i think it was, the one on PS2, did not like that very much.

I thought while I was playing VIII that it was ok, but not near the standard of VII (I hadn't played IX by that time), but looking back on VIII it really was a fantastic game, the twists in the plot, the battle system, the characters were all really interesting.

About X, I didn't really rate that either, although I loved the characters.

You should go download and play Streets of Rage II for the Genesis. That should keep you occupied for some time. :)

No way, man, you got the skill where you had to bash the square button 1,000 times to make the spell more powerful! VII suffered from similar problems, though, you could cast knights of the round on sephiroth, go to bed and then kill him after a good 10 hours of sleep

think both those games had short alternatives for the ones that didnt want to see the entire summon.

i'm not sure, but i think it was IX that brought in the short length summons, like you'd see only ramuh's staff hit the ground or something? VII summons were the best, though, i'll never forget my giggles of glee when i first cast Shiva on Jenova-Birth
