in the belly of the beast lived a certain gnome whose name has been stuck in my head ever since i first encountered him- Finkle Einhorn.
i have thought up a theory of where blizzard got the name from.

i think that they got the gnomes name from a movie called Ace ventura: pet detective, the first movie.
theres two persons in particular that stand out:
The female lieutenant who is in charge of the kidnapping investigation. her name is Lois EINHORN.
the other one is the football player who went mental after missing a field goal in the superbowl finals. his name is Ray FINKLE.

ok so we have two names, but this could just be coincidence if it wasnt for the fact that Lois Einhorn is a cross dressing man and actually is Ray Finkle, which gives us the name FINKLE EINHORN!
it all makes sense, or as Ace wouldve said "Fits like a glove!".

this might be old, considering that the game is 2 years old?

and that you mightve already thought of this but i have too much spare time atm so i thought id write it down

have you guys seen any other NPC names that you feel like youve heared or seen somewhere before?
