Make your patch downloading a lot easier

Post by Kibs »

By using this nifty application :
http://capnbry.net/wow/downloads/WoWTorrentEx-2.zip

Extract to your wow-directory and run it, it will extract a .torrent file from the patcher application which will allow you to download the patch with a decent bittorrent client. Wonderous little thing if i may add

Well, with normal torrent clients you can change port ranges, something you cant do in the blizzard one. If you're using a router to share your connection over several computers, not being able to decide the ports will severly mess up your download speed on torrents.

Also some providers limit the speed on the standard bittorrent ports, so it's advisable to use a port other than the default one.
