Aye, it good to be a demo lockKibs wrote:The tier 5 2-set bonus for hunters & warlocks is going to be changed in 2.2. Currently it's just a proc on your pet's attacks that heals it for around 180 health, but the 2.2 heals your pet for 15% of the damage that you do. Which needless to say, is going to be batshit insane.
Kinda makes me wish i didn't pass on the t5 legs last ssc, which both got disenchanted
HUNTERS INN
I ain't leaving without your soul and I am sober this time.
Specced bm for the weekend, mainly because i wanted to see how good these would be.
Damage is insane now, but still think it's boring :c

The argument is silly imo, in the end all specs are "boring". If you feel comfortable with a spec you play it better and possibly you can do more stuff in raids (whatever that might be (checking up on mages who sheep with molton armor comes to mind ).Kibs wrote:Specced bm for the weekend, mainly because i wanted to see how good these would be.

What ?Phil wrote:How can it be more boring than any MM or Survival spec? You only do Autoshot and Steady Shot anyways, no matter which spec... with BM you even have to control more stuff but I can agree that a certain spec appeals you more than another.
BM = spamming auto & steady
If you do just that with MM/SURV, your dps is terrible (fuck, even doing it the proper way - your dps is terrible as mm/surv :p)
bottomline: MM/SURV actually requires you to stay awake

Guessing Hunters truly are broken to the core; maybe it's a result of an "easy fix" to give Hunters an autoshoot function?
Honestly can't recall it all, but I seem to have this feeling that Hunters got their autoshoot thing revised since the game started...
Pretty messed up shit by skimming that thread superficially; any melee class can just spam their instants and expect them to be instant and not delay or prevent regular autoattacks from existing.
I've even heard some mention "more Steady Shots then Auto Shots on an encounter = really really bad for dps".

I just use this macro and I can tell you, it rocks in pvp!sneek wrote: I've even heard some mention "more Steady Shots then Auto Shots on an encounter = really really bad for dps".
#showtooltip Steady Shot
/petattack
/script UIErrorsFrame:Hide()
/castsequence reset=3 Steady Shot, Auto Shot
/cast [exists,target=pettarget] Kill Command
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear(); UIErrorsFrame:Show()
No idea how effective this is in raids tho, mana/dps wise tho
I don't use macros, so if I could increase my dps with say 5%-10% with 1 macrospamming button, I wouldn't use it... Me trying so hard to dps is just a motivation for the rest of the raid, when they see the shear skill and dedication we need to acctually show up on the dmg meter. We click 2-3 buttons, but the insane timing required for maximum dps is just godlike, or titanlike wich I've learned the last weeks with no inet or pc.
Finally, an emotion I do not have to fake
