Hello everyone,

We are aware of the issue that reports an Unable to Validate Game Version Error message to you after downloading and installing the patch.

This matter is being investigated and should be resolved by the time the realms are back online.

Thanks
Don't do anything like reïnstalling etc 8)

Q u o t e:

heyaz
the problem is DNS related.
a server name/ip changed, and some computers haven`t read the new ip.
start - run - ipconfig /flushdns solves the problem (or a cold reboot to reload the network interface)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No it isnt. The problem is with the auth servers themselves, half of them are not correctly updated to the new game version. All flushing dns does is force your system to perform a fresh lookup of the realmlist and (probably) connect to a different auth server, which has a chance of being one of the ones that's updated.
Flushing your DNS can work, worked for me. Gonna wait till 13:00h now tho.

That is double the effort. Flush should be enough :)

Cut it into smaller pieces if necessary! Servers are coming up btw.
