yea, im looking more into something with Unholy Power now, 41/20/0 but im going to have dark pact and maybe not improved lifetap to spend some more points on more (imo) important skills like suppression.

Well atm my corruption ticks for 283 (thats 722 shadowdamage

When BC goes live corruption will get 120% from damagegear (now 100%)
i will have 36% more effect from my gear from one talent (Empowered Corruption)
i will have 5% more damage from another talent (Contagion)
i will still have 10% more damage from Shadow Mastery

(822+(722*1.2*1.36))*1.10*1.05

~350 every 3 seconds from one of my 4 dots

only 3 are instant tho

not sure what talents will add b4/after gear and so on, worst case is 320 best case is 385

That will be the second BC goes live

2 levels later i will get another 100spelldamage from Fel Armor and a few levels later i will have another 5% extra damage on all my dots

look whos scared that he might not be the top of the foodchain anymore :p i bet u can keep us stunned until dead even with 10k hp. dont worry (and yes i think ud rogues > locks as it is now)

well fenz the thing is that i only fear soul link locks iwth voids basicly on morlog theyre the only ones that come close to posing a problem and as a rouge theyre the only ones surviving my ambush/followup backstab

fear you say? deathcoil = intercept and fear = deathwish and if im on downey its stunns, WotF and cooldowns that decide who pws or not

warlocks dont like ud rogues for a reason, dont know if horde mages hate gnomes the same way because of EA? but locks definitly dont like undead on the other side

With the right specc(subt, for pvp arenas) you wont have a fucking chance

. I'm more worrying about how fast locks are going to level I mean .. the grinding I saw is uberfast.

Some notes:

From the clips, it seems that dispelling is indeed FIFO (first in, first out - ie if you do Corruption, CoA, UA...Corruption will be dispelled first and so on in that order). If this is true, then using UA first is the best method for keeping your dots on your target. Whenever someone dispels in the clip, you can see the silence icon on the target (female lips).

Here is a screenshot of the dispel damage of UA: http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/5021 ... ionfw9.jpg . As you can see it can crit.

I died a lot more as affliction spec than demo and destruction. This could be because it's entirely opposite of my own usual playstyle, and I just suck (if you see the video, I never use Nightfall since I never noticed it go off when it did). As an affliction lock, you can't use a succubus and you also don't have the survivability of a demo lock.

If a melee player gets in range, it's incredibly difficult to get away. You do have instant Howl of Terror, however, but it's resistable. In group PvP, if you're the first target in the assist train, you'll die in a matter of seconds. I don't know how this will play out when everyone's hp is raised and burst damage is less of a factor.

If you didn't catch the new +damage coefficients, they are: Drain Life 72%, Rain of Fire 76%, Dark Pact 96%, Siphon Life 100%, Corruption 120%, Unstable Affliction 120%, Hellfire 141%, Curse of Agony 160%, Soul Fire 171%, Drain Soul 215%, Curse of Doom 400%.

The purple particle effects on your target are Corruption and Siphon Life (same effect). It's brighter when both are on the target. It used to be this huge mark that would appear on top of your target with a loud sound, as you may have seen in other videos and in the last clip of this one, but I'm guessing this was too annoying so they removed it. I like the more subtle purple disease cloud anyhow.
