Priest nerf again!!11one!
This nerf is seriously retarded. Mana cost doubled to 250 while pallies can cleanse fo 120. I know dispell can be used on enemy targets but horde gets fucked over badly for PVE with only priests being able to dispell friendly targets.
Best solution would be to split priest spell up into 2 spells, dispell friend and dispell enemy and make the friend one low cost and enemy one high cost.

A bit false comparison there, Vigz.
Take a look at thottbot's details on Dispel Magic, Cleanse and Purge.
The rank 1 Dispel Magic's just a little more expensive then Cleanse (1.8 mana costs at the moment).
Though, every one of those spells (dispel 1, purge 1 and cleanse) needs to have the same mana cost, imo - since dispel is either cast on an enemy or a friend.
It'll be painful for Horde in PvE on things like Lucifron, Geddon and Chromaggus, no doubt.
Of course, Cleanse itself is overpowered since it removes a magic debuff and a poison debuff and a disease debuff in the same cast (a godsend at Chromaggus) which not only saves mana but also time.

For starters, they do different things - Shadowburn does shadow damage and requires a reagent next to mana and fireblast is a plain fire insta nuke that only takes mana.
Purge 1 and Dispel Magic 1 do the same thing on the enemy target - remove 1 magic buff.
Cleanse and Dispel Magic 1 do the same thing on a friendly target - remove 1 magic buff.
Identical, if you ask me, much more then your example, Xen .
Having mentioned that, though, Cleanse should be more expensive then Dispel Rank 1 since it also removes poison and disease with the magic.
