... i faced a VW warlock in AB today...

why would any player use VW in pvp?

He might have the Master Demonologist talent that gives -10% damage taken when you have the Voidwalker out. Also, for Soullink (split damage with pet) purposes the Voidwalker has the most HP, which some find useful. And ofcourse you can sacrifice it for a ~2000 HP shield. But the most likely reason is probably that he just sucks. :)

Noone can kill a SL lock (1 vs 1) with a VW out (2x sacrifice) 8) That is an insane amount of hp to get thru (unless the WL sucks :lol:

Something else: Fenz, I'd like to verify how the Zandalar Hero Charm works. It gives 280 dmg, -40 dmg each time it deals damage. I've always assumed that DoTs are also counted for this, e.g. each Corruption tick reduces the damage done. Is this true? Because this is why I see the ZHC as more of a mage item, as opposed to the ToEP being more warlocky.

Nah Corruption's a Regular DOT right? So all +dmg gear you have is smeared across the entire duration.

Curse of Agony was that dot-like thingy you warlock have issues with - if you die, the curse stops working.
Now with THAT one (that "casts a spell every time it ticks") seeing how it's... you know... a spell cast? It'll wear out the talisman.

Theorycraft ftl though.

You can test this in Wailing Caverns or whatever and Curse a truckload of mobs and see if the talisman buff decays before it's time has run out.

The talisman buff do decay, it's the same with my renews when i have the trinket active.

I bound both trinkets to a macro with SB. So when NF procs it will hurt someone and they will cry!

Corruption - Rank 7
822 Damage over 18 Seconds

Immolate - Rank 8
279 damage, 510 over 15 Seconds

Shadow Bolt - Rank 10
482-538 Damage
Highest current ranks:
Corruption - 666
Immolate - 258/485
Shadowbolt - 455-507

Nice increase on Corruption. I'm already at the 192 per tick, will break the 200 for sure now. :)
