Ahn'Qiraj quest craftables

Post by sneek »

In the loot screenshots from Ahn'Qiraj on curse-gaming you could see "Blessed Qiraji "-axes, boomsticks, chopsticks and whatnot.

Those items are craftables, by quests, it seems.
The questgivers are apparently inside the Temple instance (40man).

Requires 3 elementium ores and some epic drop from AQ itself (like those epic Hakkari thingies in ZG).

Now, not familiar with the droprate on elementium ore, but I guess crafting three ~60 dps axes and daggers will be very attractive? -Compared to one Thunderfury at least.

Guess it's a new Core dilemma.

I wonder how many ores PoW had and if they are comfortable still with handing them to RN. Guess that trade must've been a very sweet deal.

im assuming that pow will get the ores back...

are we thinking about letting the ores go to anything but thunderfury first?? thats imo silly.

it will take a while for us to get to the 40 man instance imo and well... thunderfury will help alot.

Depends how many weapons etc we can make with ores compared to making 1 Thunderfury imo. We should not depend on 1 person with a specific weapon. Anyway first we need to do some more killing in BWL 8)

Wouldn't suggest such a thing at all Gorlom, actually this thread's flowed out exactly as I had hoped - before we actually have to make a decision once the stuff drops.

Like Gorlom mentioned, it requires delving (deep?) into the 40-man Ahn'Qiraj instance before you can even get the epic drop.
So, as you mentioned, Fenz, we'd be doing BWL for a while still before getting into the ToAQ - so I'm guessing the 10 elementium will be hit before 40-manning ToAQ becomes viable.

Anyway, decisionmaking on what to do with elementium (after the TF project) might best be done behind closed doors though - and not in the public Inn.
Cloak and dagger! Schemes! Ah yes, Azeroth's turning.
