yeah awesome campaign so far, not at all those "here is a base, now go destroy the opponents base" types of missions, feels like they have put some effort into the SP thing now!Lateralus wrote:EPIC campain, veryveryvery funn!!!

Starcraft, dangerous for your computer?
card, graphic, stacraft 2
A very serious bug has been found in the new game Starcraft 2. Apparently the game meny has no framelimit and can frie your graphic card.
The new game Starcraft 2 from Blizzard, which has caused sensation, may not only cause you to buy an extra hard drive, it might also happen you'll have to buy a whole new graphic card.
A new bug in the Starcraft game-meny was recently discovered after a lot of the players have had their graphics cards overheated. The game's menu screens are apparently no framelimited which means the computer tries to treat millions of framerates which makes the graphic card overheated.
However, the help is already on scene and a solution has been found.
Add the following lines to your "Documents\StarCraft II\variables.txt":
frameratecapglue=30
frameratecap=60

Certain screens make your hardware work pretty hard
Screens that are light on detail may make your system overheat if cooling is overall insufficient. This is because the game has nothing to do so it is primarily just working on drawing the screen very quickly. A temporary workaround is to go to your Documents\StarCraft II\variables.txt file and add these lines:
frameratecapglue=30
frameratecap=60
You may replace these numbers if you want to.
I ain't leaving without your soul and I am sober this time.
I don't see any reason at all to disable vsync. Not having vsync on may cause tearing in the image and even if you have supervision and can see the difference between 60 fps and 200 fps your monitor can't display framerates higher that it's refresh rate, so you'll only waste the frames that are rendered in-between screen refreshes anyway.
