First time I see that in a game oO
Not sure how I feel about DA.
Combat is very WoW like - not at all similar to BG2 and NWN in my opinion.
And the game as a whole is, imo, much better then NWN or Dungeon Siege - both in combat as well as plot/storyline/dialogue.
You really need a mage though, for debuffing and especially crowd control.
You also need a tank.
Both get tossed in your lap during or at the end of the Introduction act.
Combat is hard.
Probably on par with the bleeding edge Heroic dungeons at the start of Burning Crusade.
I have an unpatched version of Dragon Age and "Normal" difficulty was pretty sobering during the first "boss" encounter you get.
A fully patched DA will dumb down both normal and easy modes.

Patched it up and got the DLC stuff, tho I am always playing on HArd as otherwise it is quite easy...sneek wrote:Not sure how I feel about DA.

As I said on another post speach skills will let you play a very diferent game. Which is amazing how much it was overlooked on previous games, not detracting from you cutting things in half when needed. And the "fatalities" are also quite sweet. Especial the Ogre ones
Perfectly recommended.
Complicating is the true path to simplicity.
