I just tried the demo and the gameplay is good, the controls are nice and the combat controls functions like they are supposed to. I got some feeling about the open world gameplay aswell: You "conquer" territories of the city by doing quests, once a territory is conquered enemies will stop respawning there and you can roam freely there.
I died quite a lot during the demo, but I guess things will go a lot smoother once you get a good feel about the controls - you need to switch back and forth between aim/move mode during combat to avoid everything they throw at you.
I'm seriously considering buying this game now, but it probably won't happen until I get my first paycheck at the end of June.

played it for an hour or so, then my ps3 froze up ..
only other game that did that .. a lot .. was assassins creed ..
shame. Havent really had the urge to play it since, but will prolly give it another try soon. was sorta fun, altho only being able to do some low level damage shots so far is a bit meh
