That's where you need to be. Bring your French dictionary
Shaman and Druids get the choice of two sets; one caster and the other melee.
Shaman gloves have a special on it.
- Enhancement gloves grant 8% more damage on your Lightning Shield orbs.
- Caster gloves grant +5 yards to Shock range.
- Enhancement 4 out of 5 set bonus: Reduces cooldown time of your Stormstrike ability by 6 seconds.
- Caster 4 out of 5 set bonus: Grants an additional 2% chance to crit with your Shocks.
All sets follow the same piece pattern:
Head, Chest, Shoulder, Gloves and Boots.
- Head and Shoulder have two sockets each.
- Chest has three sockets.
- Other pieces have no sockets at all.
Shaman melee set has a total of...
...231 stamina, 85 strength and 22 intellect.
...114 critical strike rating and 117 resilience rating.
Shaman caster set has a total of...
...216 stamina, 68 intellect.
...78 critical strike with spells rating and 117 resilience rating.
...126 damage and healing with magical spells and effects.
Warrior set has 237 stamina and 105 strength as well as 92 critical strike rating and 117 resilience rating - for comparison.
Some folk claim this is defense and others claim it's a new stat on an item that dumbs down the chance of other players scoring a critical hit on you by physical means.
Keep in mind you get to put in 7 gems in that suit of armor as well.
Examples of those gems would be +9 damage and healing for spells and effects or +1% to crit equivalent.
BC: Level 70 Arena sets.
Another thing.
It's suggested before that Arenas were three-month long tournaments.
Once the tournament finished you'll have a winning team and the ladder will be reset.
The winning team will get a nifty title and maybe some other perks and can use those in the following three months.
This cyclic event stuff in the Arena would also allow Blizzard to upgrade items on the vendor as currently done with the blue pvp sets - to match PvE progression.
Now you can safely assume that these Arena epics you see are just the "first tier" of epics available in BC/Outland.
