The big warlock (stealth) nerf thread

This post will be updated each patch with (stealth)nerfs/changes to the warlock class:

Patch 1.7:
- (stealth) Fear is a proper Shadow spell now
- (stealth) Fel domination casttime increased to 1s (up from .5s)
- (indirect) BW makes pet immune to Fear
- improved drain mana no longer crits or benefits from +dmg gear

Patch 1.8 (upcoming):
- Lowered Ruin bonus crit damage
- Soul Link: Percentage of damage split with pet has been reduced.

hey at least warlocks have a section in the official patch notes! :P

btw, this is stealth mage nerf too imo

(stealth) Fear no longer shadow (no suppression or CoS)

now if i cs Fear no spell line will be blocked for 10 secs ( if it's true that is )

Doesn't it mean that that would be a BUFF instead of a nerf?
Now your defense mechanism always works.
Since if it isn't shadow it cannot be affected by +shadowresistance...

Sneek, you're partly right. But usually if I want to fear people I cast CoS first, to lessen their resists. Also, I have a talent Suppression, which lowers resist chances by 10%, it wont be affected by that one either I think anymore. Anyhow, buff or nerf, it's yet another undocumented change.

my hunter pet with 90 resist to all but fire resisted fear twice against a 53 wl with me at 50 though
