Naxx legendary staff

this baby deserves it's own thread
The staff will be a legendary quest item that varies per class. There will be a different aura for different classes.

Druid: 11 mana per 5 sec. aura.
Mage: +2% spell crit aura.
Priest: +60 healing aura.
Warlock: +60 spell damage aura.

Mage/Warlock Version

Atiash, Staff of the Guardian
Two Hand Staff
130-244 Damage
(64.4 damage per second)
+31 Stamina
+32 Intellect
+24 Spirit
Durability 145 / 145
Requires Level 60
Equip: Improves your chance to hit with spells by 2%.
Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 150
Use: Creates a portal. Teleporting group members that use it to Karazhan.



Druid/Priest Version

so the warlock staff will have 210 + spell damage? ohh and 30 + spell damage = 240 from one item kinda imba

it's an aura so nearby party members will receive the bonus too I guess..

This just proves that I was right saying the Staff of Shadow Flame belongs to mages/warlocks. Stick to the +heal only items guys!

wonder why there is no mana regen on the mage version, they normally use that instead of +spell :p

The auras are definately out of whack.

11 mana per 5 sec's a little less then the Mindtap Talisman, iLevel 61.
+2% spell crit's exactly like the Eye of the Beast, iLevel 63.
+60 healing's twice the Blessed Prayer Beads, iLevel 52.
+60 spell damage's twice the Brairwood Reed, iLevel 60.

There you go. Can't be right.

Spelldamage aura will be changed to +30 only.
Healing aura will be changed to +45 only.

Still don't think that 2% crit equals +30 spelldamage, not unless you do more then 1300+ bolts or 643+ instants.

With all the insane new gear people are close to getting there. I was already at 1k per bolt w/o CoS, and that was just with +550 dmg. So items with crit on them will finally not be gimped anymore (since I think Blizz values 1% crit and +15 dmg equally).
