I found out something new today: normally, if you are mounted and something hits you, the pet loses the mount speed bonus, so you have to dismount and mount up again in order to speed it up again. But apparantly, the pet already receives the mount bonus when the pet catches up with you (i.e. when the pets joins you and stands still). So no need anymore for dismounting.

This mod makes the built-in action bars act as a menu that one can access
quickly with one user defined key and the number keys. You hit the new bind key and then two number keys to access any of the slots in the action bar. This is intended to let you keep your hand over by WASD and not have to use keys away from this area. How it works is hitting the new change key puts you on the last action bar where you should have switch macros for 2-5. You then hit one of those and it take you to that bar and you hit a key for a slot on that bar. Then the mod will switch back to bar #1. In effect you can use the #1 action bar page as normal and then hit <change> # # to use anything in the 2-5 action bar pages and then be returned to the #1 page. This will give you access to 48 buttons with three key presses. Hitting the change key while on the last page will return you to page one.

I might try it out sometime, since I still use shift to access all my bars. I think this might be slightly faster (although 1.5s is plenty of time as is).
