Re: Pala for DPS!?! (short movie)

that one is a high warlord and is retribution specced i belive, afaik it stores up opponents critts into free attacks so he can unleash up to 5 attacks at once at a target. thats why it takes time and people attacking him between the two kills in hte AV shot and so forth

He is a rank 14 paladin.
EU feedback on the full movie (virt linked a vid with the few "omg" moments) can be found on the eu pally forums.
The paladin, Loke, is a Euro too, won the WoW-tabard PvP contest, and announced his vid on the Kor'gall forums.
Tried the links as of 21-dec, and they're still working.
Afaik the "Reckoning+Vengeance" talent combo is no longer possible in 1.9, let alone combining it with Repentance.
His buffs in the vid is mostly an Elixer of the Mongoose and an Elemental Sharpening Stone. Both combined do +5% or so crit.

Yes, pallies need to charge up, which isn't a real problems since the other party involved definately wants to (try to) kill said holy tin can.
His equipment's the epic pally pvp set, laced with items from Arathi Basin and some typical auction hall mail bracers any melee-inclined shaman would pick as well.
Afaik, they can store up to 4 extra attacks that they can dump together with an ordinary autoattack.
Loke has 931 attack power with all his self buffs up. That's about what a shaman has on the extra attacks of windfury.
When Loke, in that vid at least in 1.8, deals a crit, his physical and holy damage gets amped by 15% on top of that.
Controllable burst damage ftw, imo.
Uncounterable controllable burst damage even more so
Of course, Blizzard shuffled their talents around in 1.9 and more or less forced pallies to play the "seal-judge" stuff instead of the build used in this vid.
Judgement play, seeing the figures some non-skeptic pallies put out, is pretty good at mimicking shaman shock dmg output, albeit in melee range).
Seeing the changes to Pallies makes me a nervous as to what Blizzard intends to do in the Shaman Talent Review
That pally thread in which this Loke is mentioned also refers to the Fist of the Heavens video, which shows more appropriate PvP action. Not every opponent is at it's sharpest though.
